Background of Liza Meyers
I established Liza Meyers LLC in 2005 following 15 years of experience working as a lawyer for a large law firm and serving as in-house counsel for an international software company. I continue to serve companies as outside counsel on trademark, copyright and other intellectual property-related matters. I consult with attorneys and law firms who do not have intellectual property expertise. I am a native of Colorado and hold memberships with the Colorado and Arapahoe County Bar Associations.

Doing What We Do Best
Dealing with the US Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) can be complicated. The process is lengthy and subject to specialized rules. Rejection or opposition may require an appeal or defense in front of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Domain name disputes may involve the UDRP process with ICANN. In working with my clients in Denver County, throughout Colorado, and nationwide on federal trademark and copyright matters, I focus on the legal issues and bureaucracy while they focus on their creative and business endeavors.
